The Monarch, Monarch Ramparts, and a field of asters
August 2000: The summer of 2000 was especially blessed with alpine flowers, and the Healy Pass area was carpeted with colour. The Monarch, 2903 m, and the Monarch Ramparts are the backdrop. These ramparts are not to be confused with the Ramparts in Jasper's Tonquin Valley.
