North Amethyst Lake and Tonquin Hill
July 2004: Two horse-based lodges have been operating in the Tonquin Valley. The buildings of one of them can be seen across the lake. Beyond Tonquin Hill, on the right, are Caniche Peak and Vista Peak, 2795 m, followed by Glacis Ridge, 2490 m, The C ontinental Divide crosses from the left to the summit of Tonquin Hill, and then follows the ridge to just past Vista Peak.
