Trails in the North Kananaskis Area

Ha Ling Peak Trail
September 2002: Until recently, there was no formal trail to the summit of Ha Ling Peak, overlooking Canmore. It is not yet in the standard trail guides. Some parts of the trail are still a little more challenging than usual. Here, hikers must step over a U-shaped tree.
