Burstall Creek Valley from Burstall Pass

September 2002: From the ridges above Burstall Pass, the hiker can look back down the access route along Burstall Creek. Mount Birdwood, the Pig's Tail, and Commonwealth Peak flank the valley on its north (left) side. Galatea Peak, Gusty Peak, the Fortress, and Mount Chester are visible across the Smith-Dorrien Valley.
