Trails in the Peter Lougheed Park Area

Hidden Lake from the North
August 2005: Hidden Lake is reached by a rough trail that gets to the lakeshore near this point. The lake drains through its bottom, and sometimes is only a mudflat. When it is full, the route around the lake involves bushwhacking through deadfall along the east side of the lake. The Aster Lake Trail goes up the slope in the shadowed left side on the far end of Hidden Lake. Aster Creek descends the valley on the right.
