Chester Lake
September 1998: The lake is set among peaks and meadows 4.8 km from the trailhead on the Smith-Dorrien/Spray trail. The larch tree in the foreground has made its annual turn from green to gold, and soon will shed its needles. The larch is one of the few conifers that is not evergreen.
