Athabasca and Snaring River Valleys
June 2001: From the informal trail to the Mount Colin Centennial Hut can be seen the confluence of the Athabasca River and the Snaring River, which flows between Buttress Mountain, 2685 m, on the left, and Chetamon Mountain, 2606 m, on the right. The se mountains and those up the Snaring River Valley are part of the Victoria Cross Range.
