Dolomite Peak, Kathleen Lake and Helen Lake from Cirque Peak
August 2003: On the left is Dolomite Peak, 2998 m, with Kathleen Lake at its base in Dolomite Pass. Helen Lake is the blue spot in the meadow on the right; the smaller blue spot on the ridge is an unnamed tarn. The ridge leading down from the lower right corner is the route to the summit of Cirque. Mount Hector, 3394 m, is on the left skyline beyond Dolomite. The haze in the distance down the Bow Valley is the smoke from the many forest fires of 2003.
